Dr. Lucy Rodina is a Policy Analyst with Infrastructure Canada (Government of Canada), working on resilient water, stormwater and wastewater management and natural infrastructure. Dr. Rodina holds a PhD in Resources, Environment and Sustainability (2018) from the University of British Columbia’s Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability. In her doctoral work, she studied water governance, resilience and environmental justice in urban contexts, using multiple qualitative and quantitative methodologies and a case study from Cape Town, South Africa. From 2013 to 2017, Dr. Rodina was involved in the Water Ethics Network and co-chaired Water Future’s Water Ethics Working Group. Her current research interests include evidence-driven policy-making and urban water resilience to climate change impacts—with a focus on natural infrastructure and water management.
