I am a geoscientist with expertise in the bidirectional relationship between water and agriculture at local and regional scales (understanding anthropogenic drivers of drought; hydrological linkages between different water resources using isotopes; water scarcity risk assessments; among others). My current research work with Dr. Navin Ramankutty focuses broadly on understanding the impact of various causes of crop losses like extreme events, pest and pathogens and climate change in an effort to increase resilience and adaptive capacity of farmers. I employ data and statistical learning methods on big satellite and secondary data using Python and Google Earth Engine.
