Jordi Honey-Rosés

Jordi Honey-Rosés is an Assistant Professor at the School of Community and Regional Planning specialized in ecological planning, ecosystem services and natural resource management. Prior to joining the faculty at UBC, he held post-doctoral appointments with the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA) in Girona (Catalonia) and at the Research Center for Environmental Geography (CIGA) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Morelia, Mexico. He received his PhD in Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and holds undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. For nearly four years he served as a Forest Conservation Officer with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Mexico City and Michoacán, and has been a consultant with the World Bank.
