UBC Future Water Brews and News

November 18, 2020, 4:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Online

Welcome to our November monthly Brews and News! This week we will focus on the topic of  "Water Privatization: the right approach for water resources management?".

Water is a precious and not an unlimited resource, especially potable drinking water of good quality. Water privatization can refer to different contexts but typically, it involves private ownership, management or financing of water and water services. Is it a good or bad thing, for the individuals, the countries, the environment and water resource management as a whole?

This is a good opportunity to exchange some thoughts with other folks from different backgrounds, and as always, to get to know each other.

Again, come and join us for our next Brews and News discussion! Sit back, take a sip and enjoy.
