I am Andrea Vargas (she/her/hers) and I am an international student from Mexico City. I came to Canada to study Environmental Engineering and just finished my third year. My main interest is water treatment; especially when it comes to marine ecosystems although I have more experience with wastewater treatment.
Coming from a country where it is not very safe to drink water directly from the tap, I find water treatment fascinating and would love to contribute in some way.
My goal is to start making a difference before I get my degree!
