My interests are focus on the socio-ecological systems and the management of ecosystem services as adaptation strategies, in areas where the extractive industry is. With 20 years of experience in the mining and oil & gas sector, working in a sustainable area, I had the opportunity to learn and design projects related to integrated watershed management, with a strong relation with indigenous groups. I worked on different regions, upstream and downstream areas, from glaciers to desalination plants. Currently, I'm designing a Climate Risk Assessment protocol for mine closure and restoration stage, applying an ecosystem-based adaptation approach. Part of my work considers the use of real-time water monitoring sensors.
